Road maintenance involves not only the road bed and surface and replacing damaged or missing signs but also maintaining the more than 30 underground drain lines that carry water run off.
In December 2007 the District completed an ambitious program of drain replacement. Ron Thompson served as the volunteer District's supervisor for this program.
Draves Pipeline of Bonsall, California, as the low bidder, was the contractor for the replacement of drain lines at the following locations:
Burma Road at Luneta Lane
Verde Avenue at Sleeping Indian Road
Sleeping Indian Road at 4959
Sleeping Indian Road at 4105
Sleeping Indian Road at 4805
Sleeping Indian Road at 4609
San Jacinto Circle East at 4842
The total cost for this drain replacement program was $108,796.
